Peculiar Emotions

It was the ASEAN Summit Closing day so we don’t have any class. Some say it was a tedious day because as we all know roads were closed and no outing. But inspite of the bad comment and eventhough I’m stucked up in the house, I didn’t felt bored because I was very avid for the Prince of Tennis DVD. I was craving for the DVD since last year. And when my cousin or my “best pal”, he promised that he will give me a copy of the series. I was very happy. I was also very excited because he also promised that he would give me the DVD on that day.

When I woke up, the first thing that came into my mind was the DVD. Then someone knocked on my door. And when I opened the door I saw my cousin in shorts and in T-shirt holding the Prince of Tennis DVD. He said, in a hoarse voice that, “here is the DVD and hope that you like it.” I thanked him and I was very happy. After that I take my breakfast hurriedly then I started watching the DVD. I was very happy and at the same time hopeful that it wasn't a dream because if it does it would be a nightmare.

I started watching the DVD and it was very great. Ryoma Echizen, the lead character was a freshman who has a secret talent in tennis. He was very boastful and quiet. He is a bit nasty but very cute. And as he discovers his talent he would also develop friendship between he’s co-senpais. They were Tezuka, Momoshiro, Kaidoh, Fuji, Takamura, Oishi, and Inui. At the first time I saw him I fell inlove with him. I really enjoy watching the series. I was able to watch the first seven episodes but I didn’t finished watching it because it was very long. And I would not also allow finishing the series in just one day.

I was hooked on the movie. But I almost forgot that I have to review for the coming periodical test. So I stopped the movie and kept it on my secret box. I took my lunch and rested for a while. But still I found myself watching the pictures of Ryoma Echizen in the DVD case. After, I prepared my bag then reviewed some subjects. I started to feel bored and tired reviewing but I didn’t have any choice. When I was scanning some pages of my notebook my mind is still with him. I don’t know what is in him that I liked best.

For me this day is a happy day because I got a Prince of Tennis DVD. But because of that periodical test and the subjects I need to review in preparation, my day ended with a tiring and a little bit boring, but it is okay as long as I’ve got the hottest DVD.
